Video: Show us a clip of a TV show you miss.

I was ordering books today and one of the things in the cart was a book by Louis Theroux.  I skimmed the reviews, barely registering the fact that his dad's a travel writer and he used to write for SPY and have a show on the BBC called "Weird Weekends," and in this new book he goes back to interview all the people from the original series.

And all of a sudden I was like wait LOUIS THEROUX OMG!  I thought he dropped of the face of the earth, it's been like five years. But in case you missed it, he was the British equivalent of Mo Rocca, instigating Sasha Baron Cohen/Daily Show interview-style antics.  He went out and talked to people in weird American subcultures and got really into whatever it was that they did, be it wrestling, pornography, black nationalism, demolition derby, televangelism, rapping...  He was kinda goofy but always played it straight.  It was one of those shows that never seemed to be on regularly but when it was I would drop everything to watch.

Thinking about this show now somehow reminds me of a simpler, cozier, less cynical time; or maybe just a time when I lived at home and didn't need to have a job and had better access to cable TV channels.
